Kristen Borg, LCSW

Kristen Borg specializes in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of panic disorders, OCD, anxiety, challenging life transitions, and depression. She believes cognitive behavior therapy is best achieved in the context of an accepting, supportive relationship, one in which the patient is closely coached through an effective process of change.
Kristen received her MSW from Fordham University. Her work as a cognitive-behavior therapist is enhanced by her extensive experience in the arts. Trained at Juilliard, where she received a BFA in Dance; she gained international recognition as a dancer with the Stephen Petronio Company and was honored with a New York Dance and Performance Award (Bessie) for Sustained Achievement.
At the Cognitive Health Group, Kristen brings that same focus and dedication to helping people develop the skills necessary to overcome fears, manage impulses, and fully and effectively face the full range of life’s challenges.
Bruce Hubbard, PhD, ABPP

For over 20 years Dr. Bruce Hubbard has applied Cognitive-Behavior Therapy to treat emotional disorders. After establishing one of the first CBT practices in New York City, he went on to found the Cognitive Health Group, where he pioneered the integration of CBT and mindfulness to treat anxiety, depression, OCD and related disorders. Equipped with the added insight that can only come through personal experience, Dr. Hubbard is committed to broadening our understanding of emotional disorders as valid, treatable health problems. His professional work is further enhanced by the practical study of mindfulness.
In addition to his clinical practice, Bruce Hubbard is Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, Teacher’s College, Past-President of the New York City Cognitive Behavior Therapy Association (2016-2018). He has published and presented papers on anxiety, depression, thought disorder, tinnitus, evidence-based therapy, and has been quoted in BP Hope, CNBC, Real Simple, “O”, Maxim, Daily News, Daily Beast, and the New York Post.
Dr Hubbard is certified in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
